What is a dynotest exactly?

Our all-wheel dynamometer works by means of an eddy current brake. All four wheels of the vehicle running in a respective set of rollers. When the load simulation is absorbed through the brake at full acceleration, the traction at predetermined speed and rpm points and stored in the computer. After the brake triggers and goes on to the next point.

The sum of the points is presented in chart form at the end. The vehicle is put to the test with the engine operating temperature and fixed with harness straps.

All data are calculated on the brake of the dynamometer. Additional information such as engine speed, intake, ect. be an external source. The measurement starts at a predetermined speed of around 50 km / h.

This first detector is used to determine the so-called wheel performance. So it is recorded that force which is applied to the drive wheels (front, rear or all wheel drive). The towing or loss is determined directly from the roll-out afterwards. If the speed limit is reached, take the foot off the gas.
